CRIME OF THE WEEK:  

March 23, 2005

The Effingham Police Department is investigating a theft from a residence in the 600 block of South Cherry.  Two white male suspects attempted to sell the victim linoleum.  One suspect distracted the victim while the other stole money.  Suspect one was 40 to 50 years old, suspect two was 20 to 30 years old.  The suspect vehicle was a white newer extended cab pickup truck.
