School and Altamont High School both had their own observances. Below are a few
pictures taken that morning. Special thanks to Linda Smith of the Altamont
Independent for the photos and also to Al McCarron.
At the Grade School, they
formed a circle and prayed for their school and their country. Jordan McCarron,
8th grade, spoke to the group that morning.
Also at the Grade School,
several students as well as others, were in attendance.
The High School met at
their flag pole to sing and praise God.
